Slight glare: In all the photography techniques ALF has tried even natural filtered light causes a slight glare on the pictures of ALF's paintings. Another reason for a slight glare is the protective acrylic finish on all paintings.
Soft Focus: ALF uses a fully automatic digital camera with a macro feature. But since these works of art are so small some scenes may appear a bit soft in the focus.
Perspective: ALF uses a quarter during photographing her art to better visualize actual size of her small paintings.
Color: ALF has yet to photograph an art piece which truely shows the brilliance and luster of these tiny oil paintings. Colors may appear slightly different from the original.

Kilauea volcano located on the slopes of Mauna Loa is home to the Pu'o'o vent which has been constantly erupting since 1983. Volcano National Park is the most visited site on Hawai'i Island.  The most popular thing to do on this island in the winter months is whale watching. This painted scene is ALF's impression of both.
